Web Design Case Study / Louise Wilcox Solicitor

Louise Wilcox Solicitor

Requirements

Louise Wilcox had been a partner of a local firm of solicitors for a number of years, heading up its Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department. In late 2016 Louise chose to set up her own legal services office, acting as a consultant with specialists in the field Price Slater Gawne, to allow her to offer a more personal service.

We have a long history of working successfully with Louise and it was only natural that she commissioned us for her own website project.  She needed her own brand and identity, yet wanted the site to be sympathetic in colour scheme at least, with the Price Slater Gawne website. The site had to be mobile friendly (of course), and portray a modern, friendly and informal feel, to ensure that site visitors would feel comfortable and relaxed about browsing the site.

Louise wanted to be able to manage her own site content, as well as have a news/blog section where she could post information about her cases and other industry related news.

The Results

We built a fully-content managed site which allows Louise to build up pages from a selection of pre-styled content blocks and widgets.  Images are automatically resized and there are a number of different types of content blocks that can be populated easily via the CMS via a simple and intuitive user interface.  Information blocks can be moved around or hidden, and whitespace can be adjusted to keep the site looking clean and open.

Images are automatically scaled and optimised when uploaded, and the site employs a high performing caching mechanism that ensures pages load as quickly as possible.
