A Local Brand

Mason's Products, presently run by Stuart Carmichael, has been producing Dog Oil since 1920.  The product (not created from dogs!) is a massage oil that has been used by a wide range of people from athletes to footballers. 

Originally used for massaging racing dogs, it became a legend in the North of England, even having a folk song written about it!

When we took over the hosting of Stuart's site several years ago, the site was functional but old fashioned, and being static HTML, needed our expertise to update every time a new news article or testimonial came about.

Wordpress to the Rescue

Stuart was keen to have more control in managing the content of the website itself, and knew that the site could use a facelift, but with a limited budget wasn't sure of the best option. When we suggested a custom Wordpress integration, that sealed the deal, and the new Dogoil website was born.

Featuring a retro yet contemporary design, the new site gives the visitor a feeling of comfort and security, while retaining the historical brand, and best of all, Stuart is now in full control of all his content, meaning the website is kept up to date with all the latest Dog Oil news and events!
